A letter to my Husband

When I think back to the day we got married, the thing I remember most is the love I felt for you.  I remember how handsome you looked standing in the chapel in your tuxedo.  I remember how you cried when we were saying our vows.  I also remember thinking that this was the start of something wonderful.

It's so hard to believe it's already been 10 years.  I've loved all the wonderful moments I've gotten to share with you, and I'm grateful for the times you've held me while I shed my tears.

I've put you through some things a husband should never have to go through, but you never left my side.  You believed in us at times when I didn't, but you stuck with me and reminded me of why I love you.

When we got married I was young and naive.  I thought a good marriage should be effortless. Boy was I wrong! I had no idea how much it would take on both of our parts to make things work.

You believed in me when I didn't, and you have supported me in everything I've endeavored.  You are my rock, and my best friend. There's just no way to put into words how much you mean to me.

I'm so excited to see what the future holds for us. I feel like there's big things on the way. Hopefully soon we'll get to have the family we've been dreaming of. I think you'll be an amazing father, and I just can't wait for that moment.

With us going through life side by side, there's nothing we can't do. Here's to the next 10 years of amazing, crazy, wonderful, frustrating, inspiring, perfect love.
