Cycle Update

Things are really looking good so far. Today is CD7, and I will have my 5th injection of foll.istim today. I had  a sonogram today to check my progress, and things are definitely looking better that the last medicated cycle. I have a 14mm follicle on the right ovary and 2- 14mm and a 12mm on the left. I have my last sonogram on Friday and will probably do the trigger shot on the same day if not at the office. Since I have 3 more injections, including the one tonight, these follies should be nice and ripe by Friday. At this rate I have a good possibility of releasing 3-4 eggs if they all continue to grow at the same rate.

On my last medicated cycle I had some 16mm follies at my cd11 sono and I triggered the next morning. This cycle just feels better than the last one. Based on what the sono tech and the nurses are telling me my follies seem to be better quality this time. I have a really good feeling about this, and I just hope I'm right.

I'm already getting a little discomfort in the ovary area so I can't even imagine how it will feel after the trigger. Like I keep telling myself, whatever it takes. It's hard to believe that in a few weeks I could be pregnant!
