Our first day in the Northwest was spent at the Northwest Folklife Festival located at Seattle Center which is home to the world famous Space Needle. As soon as we walked into the festival all of our senses were on overload. There was art and color everywhere, delicious aromas from all sorts of different foods, and every few steps you could hear different kinds of music. I grew up very sheltered and this place was like a culture overload for me, but in a good way. There were so many different vendors selling all kinds of homemade stuff. I was in heaven. We spent most of the day just wandering around, but we did take a trip to the top of the Space Needle. Here are som pictures from that day.
|This guy was a little creepy|
This picture can't even describe the atmosphere that was going on here. This was a drum circle with about 50 people sitting in a large circle playing the drums and a lot of people in the center dancing. We stood there for over an hour just watching. It was one of my favorite parts of the day.
I was going to post all of the pictures today, but loading all these pictures is a lot more trouble than I thought it would be so I will do another post soon with hopefully the rest of the pictures.
In other news, I think I may have actually O'd. Not that it matters much this cycle, but my body seems to be doing something. I can't be posotive that I did without a blood test, but I have tender bb's, I had large amounts of CM the last 2 days, and pain from my right ovary so that sounds like a good indication to me. Unfortunately G and I didn't BD anywhere in the right time frame. I think I need to start temping with my next cycle just so I know what's going on.
Anyway, another post with vacation pictures will be coming soon. Hope you enjoy!
